River Lang Terms of Use

- What it is. River Lang is a language-learning app. By installing and using it you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
- Account. The app creates an anonymous account; you may sign in with email. You are responsible for access to your email. You can delete your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy).
- Limits. AI features, speech, text recognition and image search have daily, weekly and monthly limits. We may change limits and temporarily suspend features, e.g. when a provider fails or costs are exceeded.
- AI answers. Translations and explanations are generated automatically and may be inaccurate. Do not rely on them where a mistake is dangerous (medical, legal, financial).
- Your materials. Books and texts you add remain yours; you are responsible for having the right to use them. They are stored on your device; individual fragments are sent to providers to run features (see the Privacy Policy).
- Third-party images and data. Images from Pixabay, Wikimedia Commons and Openverse are distributed under their authors' licences; the app shows the author and licence. Dictionaries and examples are used under their licences (the "Licences" section in the app).
- Subscription (coming later). Paid plans are purchased and cancelled through the App Store or Google Play under their rules; free trial — 7 days; the subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in the store settings. Refunds follow the store's rules.
- Not allowed: circumventing limits and protections, automating bulk requests, using the app to break the law or infringe others' rights.
- Liability. The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or loss of on-device data — keep a data copy.
- Changes. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app or on this page.
- Law and disputes. Governing law and dispute resolution will be set out in the next version of these terms.
